Dr. Georgi Stanulov
Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine
Born in 1980 in Sofia. He is married and has two sons. He graduated from NNMG with specialty Biology.
In 2005 he graduated from the medical academy of Sofia, with excellent grades from the state exams.
In the period 2006-2009, after having successfully passed the exams for the recognition of the Master degree in Greece, he worked as an rural service doctor and a surgery resident there.
2010 -2015 he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in The University hospital in Alexandroupolis and in 2015 he received the title of Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He gained considerable experience in the performance of various surgery interventions in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed a two months long education of Gynecological Endocrinology in The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Postgraduate qualification in “Health management” in UNWE Sofia. He passed successfully the exams needed for certification from the Hellenic Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. He is working over his doctoral thesis in Democritus University of Thrace.
In 2015-2016 he lived in London and was a part of the team of Professor K.Nikolaides in Harris Birthright Research Centre, the world’s leader in the field of the fetal medicine. He worked in the fetal medicine units of the King's College Hospital, Medway Maritime Hospital, Southend University Hospital, North Middlesex University Hospital and University College Hospital in London.
He is certified from the Fetal Medicine Foundation for prenatal diagnosis, including for measurement of Nuchal translucency, the mean prenatal marker for Down’s syndrome.
In the last few years of his specialization and after finishing it he was a part of the team of the In vitro center of the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis. Under the supervision of Professor Galazios, he became an excellent specialist in the field of artificial reproduction. His work in the center is characterized with great efficiency.
